DIAGNOSIS

Clinical assessment of movement, muscle power and sensation often gives a good indication of the type of nerve injury, entrapment or tumour.

Neurophysiological investigation reveals deficits in nerve muscle and sensory functions and can indicate severity and location of a lesion, and if recovery is occurring.

MRI and PET scanning is used to get further information about the nerve lesion or nature of tumours

The London Nerve Centre offers advice and treatment for conditions that affect the nerves.
